Avanity Tropica-VS Bathroom Vanity

Avanity Tropica-VS Bathroom Vanity

You may be living in the colder regions of the earth but you can always add a touch of the tropics in your bathroom with the Avanity Tropica-VS Bathroom Vanity. The louvered cabinet doors are what make the vanity reminiscent of the warm and balmy air of the Caribbean or Hawaii where the style is said to have originated.

The cabinet is constructed out of solid birch wood and cherry veneers. It stands on sturdy rounded posts with bun feet giving it a traditional look. The posts support the sides and back panels as well as the louvered door closets. These doors are fastened to the posts with soft-close hinges. Two small round knobs are mounted on the door frames for opening and closing.

Apart from the good looks of the louvers, they also allow the entry of air into the closet ventilating stored items and preventing moisture build up.

Below the closed cabinet is an open shelf with molded edges for additional storage. You can probably stow unopened boxes of bath soaps or other toiletries on this shelf.

The vanity’s countertop is a shiny black granite with a hole in the middle that opens to a white vitreous China undermount sink. The contrast between the black top and white sink makes the vanity look appealing. Right behind the sink are three pre-drilled holes for a faucet of your choice. Further behind is an upright slab of the same granite serving as a backsplash to protect the bathroom wall.

For the finish of the cabinet, you have a choice between a distressed antique brown or antique white. Whichever finish you prefer you are assured of a bathroom vanity that is strong, sturdy, yet elegant, and classy.

The Avanity Tropica-VS Bathroom Vanity measures 31 inches wide, 22 deep, and approximately 35 high.
