The Antique Cherry is constructed with a combination of wood and stone. For its counter top, you have a choice of either travertine stone, Baltic brown or black galaxy granite. These tops complement the richness and warmth of the antique cherry finish of the birch wood cabinet. These have a large opening that reveals an undermount ceramic sink. Behind the sink are pre-drilled holes for the faucet of your choice. The rims of the stone tops are finished in French edge to soften their corners.
The skirt underneath the counter top is decorated with an intricate relief of flowers and leaves. Each of the legs is carved with ridges, molds, and ornate trimmings including a budding stemmed flower. The bottom is a gadroon overlaid with a carved leaf in the middle.
For storage the vanity features a cabinet with two doors. In keeping with the overall motif of the vanity, the doors are paneled. Inside is a huge space with two shelves that is large enough to hold your bathroom linen such as towels and robes. On both sides of the cabinet are four drawers each. These feature raised molds thus matching the detail of the cabinet doors. You can keep your toiletries in these drawers.
To protect the vanity, all of its components are coated with special sealants. The stone top is protected from watermarks and stains, while the wood is kept from cracking and peeling. All wood is kiln-dried to prevent warping and cracking.
