Fresca Contento VN3314ES Modern Bathroom Vanity
True to its designation as “modern”, the Fresca Contento VN3314ES Modern Bathroom Vanity relies on contemporary technology for the manufacture of its top counter and basin. Its design is also modern, eschewing frills and flourishes.
The combination of glass, metal, and wood in the Contento gives it a striking look that is sure to enhance any bathroom. The countertop is a clear thick one-piece glass with a hole in the middle to accommodate the round clear glass basin. The weight of the basin is supported by the countertop as it protrudes and flares slightly out of latter. Although the sides and rear of the countertop are straight, it has a convex front that somewhat softens its severe mien. Both the glass countertop and basin are tempered to make them stronger.
Supporting the glass components of the vanity are two shiny chrome-finished cylinders at the front corners and a solid wood panel at the rear. The cylinders themselves stand on the main body of the cabinet, leaving an open shelf space for the storage of small items.
The cabinet is assembled from solid oak wood that is finished in espresso. It follows the lines of the countertop, straight at the sides and back but curved outward at the front. The storage area is divided vertically into three sections. Each of these has its own door consisting of smoked glass framed in oak wood. Stylish door handles colored reddish brown and tipped with chrome add contrast and shine to the dark espresso of the door frames. The doors are fastened to the cabinet body with soft close hinges preventing you from accidentally slamming them shut.
In order to protect the wood cabinet from water that may come from wet floors, it is elevated by four chrome-finished tubular legs that are identical with the glass top supports.
A mirror framed in a matching espresso oak wood comes with the vanity. A faucet, chrome pop-up drain and p-trap, as well as installation hardware are also included.
