Metz Double Sink Vanity

Traditional furniture never seem to go out of style as dark woods and ornate moldings and carvings always appear majestic and elegant. Among these ageless pieces of furniture is the Metz Double Sink Vanity. It consists of a stone top and a wood cabinet underneath.
The top can either be travertine stone, Baltic brown granite, or black galaxy granite. These are two centimeters thick and are sealed to protect the surface from watermarks and stains. Two oval holes open to 16-inch under-mount ceramic sinks. On the front part of the vanity top at the point where the sinks are installed, the edge bulges outward following the contours of the ceramic bowls. The rim of the top and the bowl openings are finished with a French edge thus softening any sharp corner. Pre-drilled holes for faucets are behind the sinks.
The lower portion is constructed of a combination of solid hardwood and engineered or composite wood. Birch wood is used to construct a box frame to provide a foundation and support for the stone top and cabinet sidings and back. These, including the drawers and cabinet doors, on the other hand, are made of composite wood. All wood are properly kiln-dried to prevent warping and cracking. They are hand-stained, hand-painted, and coated with as many as 10 layers of sealant to thwart possible peeling and fading.
There is a column of four drawers in the middle of the vanity, on both sides of which are barrel-style double doors that conform to the bulge of the vanity top. The drawers are opened with antique knobs, but they glide on modern ball bearing slides. The doors feature raised details, including a Greek cross, and elaborate handles. They open to shelved storage areas.
The Metz Double Sink Vanity has dimensions of 55″ L x 21″ D x 36″ H.
