Perfect for small bathrooms, the Premier Faucet 592142 Essen Bathroom Vanity is a compact and stylish piece of furniture crafted along contemporary design concepts. Indeed, it can be described as minimalist as only the most basic features of a vanity are included in its construction.
Measuring 25 inches wide and 22.5 inches deep, it provides just enough space for a 17-inch diameter sink to rest on its countertop. The sink is of a vessel-type design and is made of white porcelain. It is perched on a hole drilled on the countertop with its flared rim protruding a few inches. It is this flange that holds the sink in place.
The countertop is a custom black fleck granite which stands in striking contrast to the white porcelain sink. As granite is a durable stone, you need not worry about dropping a bottle or any other tough item on its surface. It is also impervious to water and resistant to staining and thus is easy to maintain. A chromed tubular faucet of modern design rises from the right rear corner of the countertop, while a 3-inch backsplash spanning its entire width stands on its rear edge.
Below the countertop is a skirting on the front and sides of the vanity that conceals the bottom of the sink and the plumbing. It is made of veneered MDF wood panels that feature tight shallow vertical grooves. Further below is an open space that serves as a shelf where you can put your fresh towels or bathrobes. At the lower portion of the vanity is a single drawer for added storage. For ease of opening, it is equipped with Euro Glide Hardware.
The Premier Faucet 592142 Essen Bathroom Vanity stands on solid and sturdy legs that, like the skirt, are also decorated with vertical grooves except that they are deeper and more widely spaced. The feet have a base-like design, and are fitted with height adjusters allowing the vanity to adapt to uneven bathroom floors.
All wood components of the vanity are finished in dark mahogany, which perfectly blends with the black fleck granite countertop and white porcelain sink.
