Sagehill Designs Wyndham Park Bathroom Vanity WP5214
Featuring a design that has been used in the construction of medieval castle fortifications called the demi-lune, the Sagehill Designs Wyndham Park Bathroom Vanity WP5214 is often considered as a classical style.
Demi-lune means half moon, and it is the shape of the Wyndham Park. Its curved countertop is made of midnight black granite. It has an extreme gloss that makes it reflect like a black mirror. An oval hole is in the middle of the shiny stone slab giving way to a sink of your choice. A ceramic white bowl would be a perfect contrast to the black granite. At the rear of the counter is a back splash made of the same material.
The countertop rests on a cabinet which also follows the contours of a half moon. As the granite may be heavy, the cabinet is supported by an internal frame. This assures the stability of the vanity as well as its durability. The solid wood external front posts of the frame are of a bamboo design which terminate in turned feet.
In between the posts, right below the counter top, are three drawer fronts. Further below are three cabinets, the middle of which has dual doors while the two on the sides have only one. All drawer fronts and cabinet doors have half-moon moldings and antique-finished knobs for opening. These are constructed of decorative veneer and are finished with a rich warm brown perfectly complementing the black granite of the countertop.
All wood components are kiln-dried thus eliminating the possibility of warping and cracking. Paint is applied in two coatings, plus a clear coat to protect the paint from moisture and thus avoid peeling and cracking.
