Silkroad Exclusive HYP-0714-72 Vanessa Bathroom Vanity
It is difficult to assign the Silkroad Exclusive HYP-0714-72 Vanessa Bathroom Vanity to any design era. This is because it combines straight lines and right angles with round bowls and curved door panels and posts. The result of this mix is a classy and elegant vanity that can be installed in any bathroom regardless of its motif.
The vanity looks like two identical cabinets that are joined by a chest of drawers in between them. The impression is reinforced because, while the top of the two cabinets are at the same level, that of the chest of drawers is lower. All three, however, feature identical countertops, a travertine stone with Roman vein cut. The rest of the cabinets’ and drawer’s body are made of wood.
The travertine tops of the two cabinets have a round hole in their middle sections where honey onyx stone bowl sinks are lowered. Following the contours of the round sinks, the front ends of the countertops curve slightly forward. There are pre-drilled holes on the tops for ease of faucet installation.
The posts of the cabinets do not stand erect. Instead, they curve inward reaching their deepest bend midpoint towards the floor. Near the floor, the posts are flared, not only giving the vanity a decorative look but also a stable stand. The skirts at the bottom are arched perfectly matching the curves of the posts. The cabinets have doors that are made of a wood frame encasing a wood panel. While the main body of the cabinet is finished in plain red chestnut, the door panels are given a lighter shade with a mottled look.
The chest of drawers between the two cabinets has its drawers’ fronts in the same finish as the door panels. There are four of them, greatly expanding your storage space. Like the skirt of the cabinets, that of the chest is also arched. Antique brass hardware open the individual drawers, as well as the doors.
The Silkroad Exclusive HYP-0714-12 Vanessa Bathroom Vanity measures 72 inches wide and 22 inches deep. It stands approximately 37 inches.
