Virtu USA LD-1085 Palermo Double Bathroom Vanity
Except for the pair of sinks mounted underneath the countertop, all you see in the Virtu USA LD-1085 Palermo Double Bathroom Vanity are straight lines and 90-degree corners. With this design, the simple yet sleek vanity is as modern as it can get. It is a combination of stone, ceramic, metal, and, if you include the mirror that comes with it, glass.
The accompanying wood-framed mirror perfectly complements the vanity with its own clean and straight lines. Its only adornment is the inner section of the frame that slants in a bezel.
With the Palermo vanity, you have the option of choosing the countertop that best matches your bathroom décor and colors. You can have Baltic Brown, Travertine, or White Marble. The top has two oval cuts measuring approximately 18 inches at their widest that open to a pair of ivory ceramic sinks.
At the back of each sink, are three pre-drilled holes intended for standard 8-inch faucets with hot and cold taps and a central handle. Faucets, however, have to be purchased separately.
Below the countertop is a storage system consisting of drawers and shelves. Right in the middle is a stack of four drawers, with the top flanked by two more. These two, while having the same height and depth as the others, are wider. On both sides of the lower three drawers are cabinets with two shelves each. These are covered with double doors. All drawers and doors are fitted with openers made of brushed nickel hardware.
The frame and base of the Virtu USA LD-1085 Palermo Double Bathroom Vanity are constructed from solid Birch wood, making it durable and strong enough to support the stone countertop. The drawer fronts, and the door and side panels, on the other hand, are made of composite wood. At the back is a large cutout for easy access to the plumbing.
The vanity is finished in espresso, which goes beautifully with any of the available countertops. It measures 72″ W x 22″ D x 36″ H. The mirror has dimensions of 60″ W x 4″ D x 36″.
